Ingredients
  

  • Chicken breasts
  • 1 Beaten egg
  • 3 tablespoons Milk
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon Ground black pepper 
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 cup Milk

For The Cream Gravy:

  • 1 1⁄2 cups Milk  
  • 3 tablespoons All-purpose flour
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon Salt  
  • 1⁄8 teaspoon Pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, mix 1 egg and 3 tablespoons of milk.
  • Sprinkle a bit of black pepper and paprika into the egg mixture.
  • In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs, paprika, dried thyme, pepper, and garlic.
  • Dip chicken pieces in the egg mix, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  • Cook chicken for 10-15 minutes until golden, turning occasionally.
  • Pour in 1 cup of milk.
  • Lower heat, cover, and cook for 30-40 minutes.
  • Uncover and cook for 8-10 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
  • Put chicken in the oven at 200 degrees for 10 minutes.

Make gravy this way:

  • In a jar, shake together 3/4 cup milk, 3 tablespoons flour, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour this mix into the pan, and stir constantly.
  • Add more milk if needed.
  • Cook on medium heat until it thickens and bubbles.
  • If too thick, add more milk.
  • Serve gravy over mashed potatoes.
  • Enjoy your meal!

Notes

  • Use buttermilk for a tangy kick.
  • Don't overcrowd the frying pan.
  • Keep the oil hot for that perfect crunch.
