Ingredients

For The Chicken:

  • 1 pound   chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon  jerk seasoning

For The Pasta:

  • 2 cups Penne pasta
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 stalk Green onion
  • 1 large  Garlic clove
  • 1 pack  Knorr Parma Rosa Sauce Mix
  • 2 cups  Grated cheese
  • 2 bell  red peppers
  • 1 1/2 - 2 cups  Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Jerk seasoning

Instructions

For The Chicken:

  • To prepare the chicken, begin by seasoning it with green seasoning or any preferred seasoning of your choice.
  • Proceed to add jerk seasoning to the chicken and let it marinate for a while.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°C and grease a baking dish to prevent the chicken from sticking.
  • Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the greased baking dish and cover it with foil. Bake the chicken for 35 minutes.
  • Once the time has elapsed, remove the foil, drain any excess water and return the chicken to the oven to bake for an additional 25 minutes or until fully cooked.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the oven and carefully strip the breasts up before setting them aside.

For The Pasta:

  • Cook pasta according to the instructions on the package and strain it, making sure not to exceed 10 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a medium-sized pot over medium heat.
  • Add chopped green onions and garlic to the pot, stirring them until they are fragrant.
  • Add jerk seasoning to the pot and stir for about 2 minutes to ensure that the onions are coated.
  • Pour in milk and mix well, taking care not to burn the mixture. You can also place bell peppers (coated in olive oil, salt, and black pepper) in the oven for approximately 15 minutes at this time.
  • Add half of the cooked pasta to the pot with the milk mixture.
  • Add half of the Parma Rosa powder to the pasta and mix well.
  • Add half of the cheese and stir until it is fully incorporated.
  • Add the remaining Parma Rosa powder and cheese, ensuring that all clumps are dissolved.
  • If using meat (chicken or shrimp), add it to the dish at this point.
  • Add the roasted bell peppers, remaining pasta, and a little more milk if all the liquid has evaporated.
  • Remove from heat and serve.

Notes

  • Marinate the chicken with your preferred seasoning for a more flavorful dish.
  • Use a greased baking dish to prevent the chicken from sticking.
  • Be careful not to overcook the pasta - follow the instructions on the package and do not exceed 10 minutes.
  • Roasting the bell peppers in the oven for about 15 minutes adds a delicious smoky flavor to the dish.
  • Dissolve all the clumps of Parma Rosa powder before adding the cheese to ensure a smooth and creamy sauce.
  • If you prefer a spicier pasta, you can add more jerk seasoning to taste.
  • Add a splash of milk if the pasta mixture becomes too thick.
