Ingredients

  • 4 pound grapes red, green,
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 8 oz  cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup  sugar
  • 5-6 Butterfinger candy bars full-size
  • ½ cup  brown sugar

Instructions

  • Mix the brown sugar with the crushed candy bars.
  • Using an electric mixer, blend together the softened cream cheese, sweetened sour cream, and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • Add approximately 1/3 of the Butterfinger/brown sugar mixture and mix well. Rinse and remove the grapes from their stems before adding them to the mixture.
  • Add a thin layer of the Butterfinger/brown sugar mixture to a 9x13 dish or a similar size.
  • Put the grapes in the dish, then top with the remaining Butterfinger/brown sugar mixture.
  • Although this can be eaten right away, it's best if it's made the day before and chilled overnight.

Notes

  • Use fresh and ripe grapes for the best flavor.
  • Soften the cream cheese before mixing it with the other ingredients to create a smooth and creamy texture.
  • Crush the Butterfinger candy bars into small pieces, but not so small that they turn into dust.
  • Chill the salad overnight to allow the flavors to meld together and the Butterfinger pieces to soften.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
