  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted

Instructions
 

Preheat the oven

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking dish with butter.

Prepare the plums

  • Slice plums and place them in a large bowl. Add sugar, lemon juice, vanilla, and cinnamon. Mix gently.

Transfer plums to dish

  • Pour the plum mixture into the prepared baking dish. Spread evenly with a spoon.

Make the topping

  • In a bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, and melted butter. Mix until crumbly.

Add topping to plums

  • Sprinkle oat mixture evenly over the plums. Make sure the plums are fully covered.

Bake the crisp

  • Place in the oven and bake for 35 minutes. Topping should be golden brown and plums bubbling.

Cool slightly

  • Remove from oven and let the crisp cool for 10 minutes before serving.
